 Schools all around the country differ in ways. The size of classrooms, how many faculty on staff. It is nearly impossible to provide the exact same level of education to all students. I believe that as long as schools and more importantly school districts are pushing to achieve the same level of education across all platforms, then things are going in the correct direction. A few ways that school programs can ensure that schools and classrooms are as equitable as possible is to make sure that education is student centered, ensuring that curriculum is challenging to all students, ensuring that funding is evenly distributed to all schools, and having a "visionary leader" that Nate Bowling mentioned in the podcast. To touch on the last one first, it is impossible to give a good education to students who don't have passionate teachers.      We as educators and future educators have come across a multitude of different learning styles throughout our schooling career. There is not one single way of teaching that works for every student. That would be like saying one type of tool is suitable for all jobs. There are certain types of communication that are universal however. I believe that music is a great tool to help convey a lesson to children, especially younger children who are more interested in the music then the actual lesson plan that is being taught. Children who may not have the English language as their first language can easily learn more through pictures and music then an educator directly delivering a lesson plan that a student is just plainly not going to understand because they do not speak the same language. I think another way to differentiate instruction so that all students feel inclusive is to make sure that educators are actively listening to body language and non-verbal communication ...

     I believe that educating all children means making classrooms and learning environments more then just inclusive, but the epitome of welcoming and warm. I myself as a child was always nervous when I would walk into my classroom on the first day of school. That could be 3rd, 4th, even 11th grade, it was always the same feeling. Creating that certain factor in a classroom that lets children drop their worries at the door and come in not even necessarily wanting to learn, but to enjoy their day is my goal and what I will make happen. Something that I never had to deal with but have watched so many young children have to deal with whether that be in the classes that I was a student in or when I was a student in the "Ready, Set, Teach!" program through Cy-Fair high school actively participating in the classroom with a teacher was children with learning disabilities. I have watched amazing teachers help students with disabilities make their classroom feel like a home ...

      Why Teach?      Ever since I was little, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I used to line up my stuffed animals and pretend to teach them. I even got an overhead to make it more realistic! My kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Hebert made me want to be a teacher even more! She has always been so caring and welcoming. She made school fun for both me and my brother. We both got to have her as our kindergarten teacher and we still keep in contact with her! She made my elementary school years amazing!  I hope to be an amazing teacher like her one day.       I want to teach kindergarten because I love being around little kids! I think kindergarten is such a fun grade and the kids are at a fun age. I got to shadow a kindergarten class when I was a Junior in high school. It was the most fun I have ever had at school!
